Meghan Kelly, VP of Global Operations, Leads eXp Global Explained Breakout Session During EXPCON

A breakout session on the first day of EXPCON 2022 brought together leaders from all areas of the global business to help eXp Realty agents understand how eXp Global operates and how to identify opportunities for expansion of their own businesses on a global scale.

Meghan Kelley, VP of Global Operations, began the session with some astounding statistics noting, “incredible growth in just over a year from EXPCON 2021 until now, eXp Global saw a 60% increase in agent count and 132% increase in transactions on a global level.”

She then provided an overview of the operational procedure, how the team identifies new country opportunities and how to get involved in international conversations over Workplace chat groups for eXp Realty agents to diversify their network. 

Panelists Discuss the Many Benefits of eXp Global

The next part of the session took a deep dive into a diverse panel of industry leaders on global agent attraction and the benefits of going global. Dounia Fadi, Managing Director of soon-to-open eXp Dubai, touched on preparing for growth.

“eXp Realty brings innovation to the real estate market, I knew right away that I wanted to be the one to bring this disruption to Dubai and I think it will be well received.” 

Up next, Barry Pulver, eXp Real Estate Consultant based in the U.S., spoke about growing his global agent portfolio and landing the first team to onboard in Australia; “We have a platform that can help any agent, at anytime, anywhere in the world. Being here and learning about the business at EXPCON is how it all starts.”

Shashank Vashishtha, Managing Director of eXp India which has been open for almost two years, spoke next about being one of the fastest-growing countries at eXp Global.

“We need to stay ahead of the game. Our state-of-the-art technology combined with our agent-centric model is how we will continue to grow at this rapid pace.”

The final panelist, Steve Johnstone, Chairman of the eXp Global Agent Advisory Council and one of the first agents in South Africa spoke about building his revenue share group and supporting them through education.

“Be a great leader, build a supportive community, interact daily, develop a suite of resources and teach the importance of taking responsibility for everything in your own business — don’t waver, we are all pioneers and must act.”
